Registering your trademarks protects your brand from being used, copied or infringed by any other person and you get an exclusive right to use them.

Documents Required :

For Individual :

  • Copy of PAN Card
  • Copy of Aadhar card/ Passport/ Driving License.

For Company/ LLP :

  • Copy of PAN Card of any one Director/ Partner.
  • Copy of Aadhar card/ Passport/ Driving License of any one Director/ Partner.

Procedures :

  • Checking of availability
  • Collection of documents and information
  • Application
  • Perusal by the Trade Mark Office
  • If no objection raised, advertisement in Trademark Journal
  • Waiting time of 4 months for oppositions
  • Approval

Time :

Symbol (TM) can be used in 3 days. However registration of trademark takes about 24 months. Symbol ® can be used thereafter.

  • Individual – ₹9,500
  • Company/ LLP – ₹14,000
